Abuja High Court Fixed 20th July 2023 For The Case Of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Vs DSS

The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has fixed July 20 for judgement in a suit filed by Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), against the State Security Service (SSS), seeking an order to allow him unhindered access to his medical doctor.
Justice Binta Nyako fixed the date after Mike Ozekhome, SAN, and lawyer to the SSS, A.M. Danlami, adopted their processes and presented their arguments for and against the suit.
Barrister Mike Ozekhome had, whom report flew in few days ago that he has been sacked by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s family together with Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, sued the SSS (DSS) and its director general, unbehalf of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, as the first and second respondents in the matter.
Ozekhome was only able to come out with a date in the next 30days. Another moves and development many Biafrans are tired and getting bored of hearing. Many frown at this latest move by Barrister Mike Ozekhome, SAN, and Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor and wave it aside as a “waste of time and resources” while expressing their disappointment in what they called “ingenuity” in these two lawyers managing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s case since he was illegally kidnapped and extraordinarily renditioned from Kenya to Nigeria two years ago by Nigeria government and their counterpart in Kenya.
It is worth mentioning that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s personel physicians has been denied access to see and conduct medical examination on him on two occasions they have tried recently. The SSS (DSS) had blocked them from seeing their patient even after they were initially cleared for the visit by the same SSS (DSS).
The self acclaimed Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyers, Barrister Mike Ozekhome and Ifeanyi Ejiofor, together with some aggrieved former members of IPOB Directorate of State (DOS), Chika Edoziem, Chinasa Nworu and others claimed they liaised with the SSS (DSS) to block Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s physicians from visiting him. An action many are still at shock with.
